Originally, when Anne put the Squidward fanlisting up for adoption, I was very tempted to apply, but never did because I felt like there were many things I liked more than Squidward at the time. As time passed, though, I kind of ended up kicking myself for it a little bit as I got back into Spongebob and fell in love with Squidward all over again. Naturally when Quirino stuck it up for adoption, I applied the moment I saw his name on the list. I had to! He's my favorite character on the show, with his general hatred for everyone else, witty commentary and the fact that he's the only character on the show who appears to be remotely sane in any way, shape or form. I also apparently happen to be one of the few that actually does like Squidward's art, even if he is utterly snobbish about it and not nearly as good with the clarinet (I'm sorry Squidward, dear, but it's just not your thing...). No, people, Bold and Brash did NOT belong in the trash! Shame on you for laughing at that rich guy's joke!
Also, if you remember in one episode, Plankton tricks Spongebob and Patrick into painting the Chum Bucket, which in turn gets Squidward into painting it. When Plankton sees his work, he criticizes Squidward and paints over it, causing Squidward to say, "Everybody's a critic." I thought it fit him pretty well, considering that Bikini Bottomites that aren't Spongebob tend not to think very much of Squidward's efforts in art and music even though he thinks he is the shiznit. ;)
Anyway, I am very, very happy to own Squidward's fanlisting, and will probably covet it until the end of (my) time because I love it so very much. Squidward's fanlisting is listed under the Characters subcategory of Animation at The Fanlistings Network.

Enthusiast, IconSort and FanUpdate help me run the site effortlessly. I used Paint Shop Pro 7 to create the design, and I'll be honest with you, I did just kind of fly over to Google and snatch images from there without noting the sources. The large image of him on the bike in the header, however, is a wallpaper from United Spongebob, and I also took some images for buttons from there.
